This is my pet.
His name is Chico and he is very friendly and cute.
This is a blog especially created for DidacTIClang in October 2009 as an exercise. However, it is not meant to be virtual and fictional since real teachers and real students are going to take part in it to share their love for domestic animals in English.
It was once a spring morning and my grandmother was at the window watching three little goldfinches. One of them fell down the nest and my uncle who was walking by, picked it up and took it to my grandma. It was a male bird and we named him Nico Bico-Bico because he had a long beak. He has black and red feathers. His preferred food is small seeds. He is very funny and he lives in a cage sound and safe. His song is a pleasant silvery twittering.Goldfinches are commonly kept and bred in captivity around the world because of their distinctive appearance and pleasant song.
My cat’s name is Tareco. One lucky day – December 3rd, 2010 about 11.30 pm. – he simply appeared around our house and we adopted him. He is big, playful and beautiful. He is a glutton. He has wonderful blue eyes and his fur seems Egyptian. When my sister and I fall ill, he stays with us to relieve and cheer us up. There is no other cat like him. He has lived with us for about two years but he has probably lived several months in the streets. He is happy now and I am happy, too, as I love him so much.
